Welcome at English Gate School

Dear students, families, teachers and members of our school community,

Welcome to English Gate School in Cantù and the start of a new school year. It is with renewed enthusiasm that we reopen the doors of our school, ready to embark together on a new journey of learning, growth, and discovery.

Our mission remains to offer an excellent international education, combining the depth and structure of the British curriculum with the richness of Italian culture. In a stimulating, bilingual, and multicultural environment, each student is encouraged to develop their talents, develop critical thinking, and cultivate intellectual curiosity.

This year, too, despite a revamped organization, we will ensure continuity in the academic activities undertaken so far, with an ever-increasing commitment to the pursuit of educational excellence. At the same time, we will continue to educate beyond the confines of textbooks: with creative projects, technology workshops, emotional education activities, outdoor experiences, sports initiatives, field trips, and exchange programs with other schools.

We extend a warm welcome to new students: you’ve joined a community that believes in your potential and will guide you with confidence. To those returning, we welcome you back with joy, ready to face new challenges together, with new teachers, classmates, and opportunities.

A heartfelt thank you to the families for their continued trust in us. Thank you to the teachers for their passion, expertise, and dedication that make this school special every day. And a thank you to all the school staff, whose invaluable work ensures the smooth daily functioning of our educational community.
